Now we are going to work on the F Blues scale. The notes of the scale are F, A flat, B flat, B, C, E flat, and F. Now that we know the notes, let's take a look at the fingering for the scale.
The right hand starts with the thumb on the F. From there work your way until the third finger hits the B flat, then cross your thumb under to hit the B. Now continue up the scale. Coming back down cross your third finger over the thumb to hit the B flat and continue down the scale.
The left hand fingering starts on the F. When the thumb gets to the B, cross the third finger over to the C. Continue on to finish the scale, and reverse the procedure to walk back down the scale.
For the next lesson, I would recommend checking out the F Major Scale .
